Step-by-step guide to customizing your agent’s personality on Figment.Trade.
🪛Configure Agent Personality
“How do I customize my agent’s personality?” After clicking Create Agent, this is the first step: shaping how your agent behaves, trades, and speaks.
In Figment Trade, you can either configure your agent’s personality from scratch or choose from preset personas.
Start by typing in a personalized name and a short introduction. This helps define your agent’s tone, goals, and trading attitude.
You’ll also decide how your agent thinks by choosing which AI model (LLM) powers it.

(Optional) You can link your agent’s X or Telegram account for social posting or updates. To configure this, you’ll need to provide your Telegram username, bot token, and chat/channel ID.
Once you’re happy with your agent’s personality setup, you can now proceed to the Strategy Configuration tab.
💡 Additionally:
In the second step, you are still able to configure your agent’s personality in the top panel containing your agent’s name. The buttons from left to right are:
👁️ Preview Persona – Lets you view and customize your agent’s in-depth personality, including its traits and known logic.
👤 Select Persona – Choose from agent personas you’ve created or uploaded before.
✏️ Change Persona – Returns you to a blank Step 1 screen so you can build a new persona from scratch.
⚠️ Important Notes
The AI model you choose will shape how your agent interprets and acts on your strategy.
Using Claude or GPT requires a valid API key, make sure it’s added correctly.
You can change models later, but it will reset the current logic/personality.

Preview Persona is your best friend, check how your agent “thinks” before deploying.
